Died.

At her home in Union township on Friday, October 18th, after an illness of 15 months, Mrs. Eliza Wire, wife of Elijah Wire, aged about 45 years. Mrs. Wire was an old and respected citizen and a member of the Evangelist church. Funeral services held at the church in Cambridge by Rev. Cooker, of Des Moines. Text, 2 Cor. 5 Chap., and 1st verse. She leaves a husband and six children, on a babe of ten months, and hosts of friends, all who mourn their sad loss.
