THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Friday, October 22, 2010.

Herbert C. “Herb” Stock, 79, died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010, at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. A gathering of friends and family will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, at Grandon Funeral and Cremation Care, 414 Lincoln Way in Ames.

Herb was born April 17, 1931, in Fremont, Neb., the son of Louie and Georgiana Stock. He graduated from high school and college. He was a member of Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 520 in Ames and the American Legion Post 37 of Ames.

He is survived by his companion and her family, Judi Richardson, of Ames, and her children, Erica Cory, of Huxley, Amy Richardson, of Ames, and Andrew (Nicole) Richardson, of Huxley, and three grandchildren, four children and a sister in Nebraska.
