THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Wednesday, October 20, 2010.

Gerald Richard Meimann passed from this life Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church in Zearing. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, also at St. Gabriel’s.

He was born in 1922 on the family farm near St. Anthony, the son of Henry Anthony Meimann and Mary Magadalene Tagatoff Meimann.

He will be remembered by his children, Linda Eichhorn, of Grinnell, Steven Meimann, of Zearing, and Ann Rasmusson, of Epworth; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Fredregill Funeral Home in Zearing is in charge of funeral arrangements
