OBITUARY
Mrs. Mary Apple Day, wife of George W. Day, died of consumption Sunday morning last at the family residence in Richland township, aged nearly thirty years. Mrs. Day was the daughter of John and Margaret Apple of Nevada, and had passed nearly all of her life in this vicinity. A husband, three little ones, parents, two brothers and a sister are bereaved. Funeral rites were observed at the M. E. church in Richland yesterday, and the interment was in the cemetery near by. Rev. A. B. Shrader preached the sermon. Rev. John Elliott assisted, and a very large assembly of friends and acquaintances testified to esteem for th one death had claimed, and sympathy with those it had made desolate. Mrs. Day was a probationer in the M. E. church.
