Mrs. McCall, 71, Dies at Home of Daughter Here
Mrs. Olive Quick McCall, 71, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edna Pruitt, 123 Sumner avenue, at 11:30 p. m., Thursday following an illness of several years.
A resident of Ames for the past 39 years, Mrs. McCall was born in Vandalia Oct. 11, 1865. She was married to John McCall of Runnels Aug. 23, 1883 and after living on a farm near McCallsburg for 10 years the family moved to Ames. Mr. McCall died in 1923.
Surviving are four children, Mrs. Pruitt of Ames, Mrs. Mae Barker of Maxwell, Frank McCall of Des Moines and Thomas M. McCall of Crookston, Minn. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Fannie Warner of Prairie City, Mrs. Rachel Gregory of Des Moines, Mrs. Hattie Rosenberger of Omaha and a brother, Theodore Quick of Dexter.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m., Sunday from the Adams chapel, with the Rev. Jack Finegan of the Church of Christ in charge. Burial will be in the Ames cemetery.
