ANDERSON RITES ARE HELD TUES.
LAFAYETTE TWP. - Funeral services for Andrew Anderson, 41, who died Friday morning at the Veterans hospital in Des Moines were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Mackey Methodist church. Burial was in the Center cemetery.
Mr. Anderson who had been ill with anemia for some time was taken to the hospital Thursday.
Mr. Anderson was married in June, 1923, to Miss Bernice McCoy of near Ames who survives. Four children also survive. They are Alma, 15, David, 10, Donna two and one-half years, and Delores, one year old.
Mr. Anderson, a World war veteran, had been engaged in blacksmith work near Mackey for three years and the past year was farming near Gilbert. He also did blacksmith work in Gilbert.
Also surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dane Anderson of Williams, a brother, Fred Anderson of Williams and a sister who resides in Alabama.
