MRS AMY COURTNEY TO BE BURIED HERE

Mrs. Amy Courtney, 74, recently of Ames, mother of Mrs. D. A. Moulton, died Sunday, Oct. 11, at the Methodist hospital in Des Moines where she had undergone an operation Saturday for Tic-Douloureaux.

Mrs. Courtney was prominent in work in the Congregational church, having served at one time as deaconess. She was also a member of the Faculty Women's club as well as charter member of the Fortnightly Book club.

Mrs. Courtney endeared herself to all who knew her by her many kindnesses and friendly nature.

Services will be held in the Congregational church Tuesday at 10 a. m., with the Rev. A. R. McLaughlin in charge. The body will be taken to Ironton, O., where it will rest beside that of her husband, Dr. H. G. Courtney. Services will be held in the First Presbyterian church at Ironton Thursday morning.

Pallbearers will be T. R. Agg, H. B. Manning, F. Robotka, J. H. Griffith, E. R. Smith and A. H. Kimball.
