Funeral Services For Judge Luke's Brother On Friday
Funeral services for A. H. Luke of Hampton, brother of Judge J. Y. Luke of Ames, will be held at Hampton at 2 p. m. Friday. Burial will be at Hampton.
Mr. Luke died at his home in Hampton Wednesday following a short illness with asthma. Judge and Mrs. Luke and been to Hampton Sunday, when his brother became ill, but the illness was not considered serious.
Mr. Luke, Franklin county treasurer for 12 years, was 51. He had recently served as cashier of the Hampton State bank and before serving as county treasurer was deputy treasurer for many years.
In addition to his brother here, he is survived by his wife, who is known in Iowa literary circles as Lou Mallory Luke, three other brothers, Will of Long Beach, Cal.; Charles L. of Des Moines and W. B. of Hampton; also two sisters, Mrs. F. E. Webb and Mrs. Mimie Campbell of Hampton.
