THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Wednesday, July 21, 2010.

Lucile J. Larwick, 90, of Papillion, Neb., died Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at Midlands Hospital in Papillion. Visitation will be from noon until the 1:30 p.m. service Saturday, July 24, at North Grand Christian Church in Ames. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery in Webster City.

Lucille was born Feb. 25, 1920, in Webster City, the daughter of Oscar and Dena (Wellman) Laugerman. She graduated from Webster City High School and later Webster City Community College. She taught school before she married Loran Larwick. She was a member of North Grand Christian Church. She enjoyed cross stitching, oil painting and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Verla Kay (John) Barrett, of Papillion, Neb., David (Valerie) Larwick, of La Center, Wash., Keith (Tara) Larwick, of Golden, Colo., Kenneth (Sharon) Larwick, of Ames, and Loran (Jane) Larwick, of Brush Prairie, Wash.; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband, Loran Larwick; son, Gary Larwick; three grandchildren; three brothers; and two sisters.
