Twin sons, Donald Jay and Joseph Charles, were born to Rev. and Mrs. G. O. Thompson of Colo Thursday at the Deaconess hospital in Marshalltown, but the lived only a short time, passing away the following day.

The one died Friday morning and it was taken to the family cemetery north of Huxley for burial. When the funeral party returned to Marshalltown, the other boy had died, about 4:30 o'clock, and it was also taken to the same cemetery for burial the same day.

Mrs. Thompson's father, Rev. C. D. Wendell, pastor of the Evangelical church at Radcliffe, officiated at the short funeral services held at the cemetery, which was attended by the immediate families. Those from here in attendance were Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Thompson and Mr. and Mrs. N. J. Thompson. Others of the family present were miss Ruth Wendell, Mrs. Merle Dickinson of Colo, and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Wendell of Nevada.

The mother, Mrs. Thompson, is making satisfactory recovery and expects to leave the hospital the end of this week.
