Death of Hans Krohn
Hans Krohn, a respected citizen of this community died Monday evening at his home on the S. H. Twedt farm northeast of town. Mr. Krohn was 87 years of age at the time of his death.
Funeral services are being held today from the Bergen church.

Hans G. Krohn was born near Bergen, Norway, March 30, 1834, and died at the home of his daughter, Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Twedt, on October 11, 1920 leaving him at the time of his death, 86 years, 6 months and 11 days old.
In 1863 he was married to Herborg Johnson, and in 1870 immigrated to this country, locating near Roland. Shortly after his arrival in this county he united with the Norwegian Synod church of which he remained a member until the time of his death.
On March 6, 1875, his faithful wife was called to the great beyond. In 1879 he was married to Mrs. Anna Omvig, whom together with five children, survive him. They are: Mrs. S H. Twedt, Hannah Krohn of Dayton, Knut E. Khron of Marathon, John Krohn of Sherburn, Minn., and G. H. Krohn of McCallsburg.
Funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon from Bergens church.
