Sylvia Merkle, 92, of Ames, died Sunday, May 16, 2010, at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, at Grandon Funeral and Cremation Care, 414 Lincoln Way in Ames. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, at Ames Municipal Cemetery.
