MISS DYBENDAL DIED

Friends here received word last week of the death of Miss Laura Dybendal at the univerity hospital at Iowa City on Tuesday, February 20. She had submitted to an operation for the removal of a tumor and failed to recover from the effects of the operation.

Miss Dybendal was employed as a stenographer at the former Farmers Bank in Roland a number of years ago. She left here about ten years ago and since that time has been confined practically all of the time to the sanitarium at Oakdale in an effort to regain her lost health.

The funeral was held at Thompson, her former home, on Friday afternoon.
