HUBBARD MAN DIED SUDDENLY

L. M. Newgaard of Hubbard, was stricken with apoplexy while visiting at the home of his mother, Mrs. Olaus Newgaard in McCallsburg Tuesday last week and died a few hours later. He was 57 years old, had been in the mercantile business in Hubbard and McCallsburg and operated a cafe in Nevada a short time. He was at one time a candidate for sheriff of Story county. He leaves his wife and two sons, his mother, and several brothers and sisters, among them being August Newgaard and Ben Newgaard, who have lived in this community.
