Miss Bertha Anderson and Mrs. Gunder Larson Are Laid to Rest, Many People Attend Funerals

Mrs. Inger G. Larson was born in Norway, Europe, January 8, 1845, and died at her home in Roland Saturday, March 27, 1909, being 64 years, 2 months and 19 days old when called to the Great Beyond. In 1870, she was married to Gunder Larson Vik, to which union seven children were born. They are John, of Howard, S. D., Mrs. T. C. Sime, of Radcliffe, Lewis, Malinda, Issac, Helen and Emma, all of whom live near here. In 1874 they came to this country and in a few years moved to a farm in Hardin County where they lived until a year ago, when they moved to Roland, where they expected to spend the closing days of their life, to enjoy the fruits of their labors.
The funeral was held Tuesday from Salem church, Rev. J. N. Sandven officiating, after which interment took place in the Roland cemetery. The church was filled with friends who wished to pay a last tribute to the departed. The sympathy of many friends is extended to the bereaved family in the hour of their sorrow.
