Obituary

DIED - May 6th, 1880, at her residence near Attwood, Rawlins Co., Kan., Mrs. Virginia A. B. Tindell, wife of Samuel H. Tindell, aged 22 years and six months.

Mrs. Tindell with her husband and family had arrived only about six months from Nevada, Iowa, when the hand of death was laid upon her, by heart disease, and called her suddenly from her doting family.

She leaves three small children and a husband to mourn her loss; but they are susstained in their bereavement by the evidence she gave in life of her acceptance of Christ and the assurance that their loss is her eternal gain.

The funeral was very largely attended by the neighbors and settlers from Kelso and Attwood, nine vehicles being in the procession to the graveyard. The friends have the sincere thanks of the family for their kindness and sympathy in their need and affliction.
