The sad news that Halvor Musland had passed away came Wednesday afternoon. Mr. Musland has been afflicted for a long time with cancer of the throat and tuberculosis, and has been at Minneapolis for treatment with specialists, but received no relief. Mr. Musland was married about twenty-six years also and moved to the farm which is a part of his present farm. He was industrious and bought other lands till he owned 280 acres of well improved land. He leaves a wife and six children to mourn his loss. The funeral will be held Saturday August 15th, at 1 o'clock. The sympathy of friends is extended to the bereaved family - Nevada Representative.

Mr. Musland is a brother of Mrs. Martha Waage of this place, and is quite well and favorably known among people here.
