THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Friday, April 9, 2010.

Patrick Lee Sullivan, of Colfax, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 12, at Grandview Park Funeral Home in Des Moines, with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in Farrar.

Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 11, at Grandview Park Funeral Home.

Patrick was born Oct. 15, 1955, in Ottumwa, the son of Merrill J. and Lois M. Sullivan. He was joint owner of Advanced Coating Systems L.L.C., in Ames. On May 31, 2002, he married Linda M. Lay in Ames.

He is survived by his wife and seven children, Stephanie A. (Jason) Mirault, Jacqueline L. (Scott) Clasen, Meagen S. (Willie) Burpo, Tiffany A. (Keith) Lewis, Nicole E. Sullivan (Kent Seieroe), David D. Lay and Austin J. Sullivan; one sister, Paula K. (Ed) Wyllie; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother; his father; one daughter, Shawna L. Sullivan; one son, Shawn P. Sullivan; one sister; and two nephews.

Memorials may be made to the family in lieu of flowers.
