THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Friday, April 9, 2010.

Norman Goodwin, 97, of Bayport, Minn., formerly of DeWitt, and former Iowa state senator, died Friday, April 2, 2010, in Stillwater, Minn. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 10, at First Lutheran Church in Kensington, Minn. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. An additional memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 8, at DeWitt United Methodist Church in DeWitt, with inurnment in Elmwood Cemetery.

Memorials may be given in Norman’s honor to the Norman J. Goodwin FFA Scholarship, in care of the Minnesota FFA Foundation, P O Box 118, Rosemount, MN, 55068. This scholarship will be awarded to both a Minnesota and Iowa FFA student.

Arrangements are being handled by Roy-Hetland Funeral Home in Osakis, Minn.
