THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Friday, April 9, 2010.

Kenneth “Duke” Chaffen, 66, kicked mud for the last time Thursday, April 8, 2010.

Duke’s home was wherever he rolled out that night. He spent the last two years in Salina, Okla. Duke enjoyed traveling, spending time with friends and telling stories of his exploits on the road. He was proud to be called a TRAMP. To him the word meant True Righteous And Most Proud.

He will be dearly missed by his friends, too numerous to mention. Hip hip.
