THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, March 16, 2010.

The life of Dorothy Redfield-Griffin ended at 90 years plus, on Saturday, March 13, 2010. No services will be held.

She was a longtime resident of Ames and Boone. Dorothy was a long term employee of the library system at Iowa State University.

Our mother enjoyed her work, getting to know people and, in recent years, dancing.

She is survived by one brother, Charles Evans, and his family of Newport, Wales; one daughter, Dorothy, and family of Alberta, Canada; one son, David, and family of St. Louis, Mo.; eight grandchildren and their mates; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She will be missed.

Adams Funeral Home and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements.
