The funeral services of the late Mr. B. J. Blany, who died on the night of the 21st, were held at the Baptist church, Sabbath last, Rev. Mr. Perkins preached the funeral sermon. He was buried with masonic honors by the masonic fraternity, of whom he was an aged member. Mr. Blany was quite an aged man, and an old and honored citizen of this place. He leaves an aged widow and a family of children to mourn his loss, and in this their hour of deep bereavement over the loss of so worthy a husband and father, they have the full sympathy of the entire community.
