Ilo J. Cates, 68 of Ames died on Thursday, March 11, 2010, at her sister, Loretta Hughes’ home. Her mother, Gladys M. Hoberland, 93, of Roland, died on Friday, March 12, at her home in Roland. Joint memorial services are pending with Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada.

Gladys M. Hoberland, 93, of Roland, died Friday, March 12, 2010, at her home in Roland. Joint memorial services with her daughter, Ilo Jean Cates, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, at the Zearing United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Lincoln Township Cemetery in Zearing. The family received friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 15, at Chet Ryan Mortuary, 708 Fifth St., in Nevada.
