THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Saturday, March 13, 2010.

Ilo J. Cates, 68 of Ames died on Thursday, March 11, 2010, at her sister, Loretta Hughes’ home. Her mother, Gladys M. Hoberland, 93, of Roland, died on Friday, March 12, at her home in Roland. Joint memorial services are pending with Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada.

Ilo Jean (Hoberland) Cates, 68, of Ames died on Thursday, March 11 at her sister Loretta Hughes' home in Ames. Joint memorial services with her mother, Gladys M. Hoberland will be held 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 16 at the Zearing United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Lincoln Township Cemetery in Zearing. The family received friends on Monday, March 15 from 5-7 pm at the Chet Ryan Mortuary, 708 Fifth Street in Nevada.
