OLD RESIDENT DIED

The funeral service was held Friday at St. Petri Lutheran church in Story City for Mrs. Maggie C. Sevde formerly of Story City, who died at the home of her daughter near Ames September 6.

Mrs. Sevde was born in Illinois August 22, 1861 and was 71 years old at the time of her death. She came to Story County when an infant and lived the rest of her life in the vicinity of Roland and Story City. Her husband, B. J. Sevde, died at Story City last January, since which time she has lived with her daughter a mile north of Ames.

She leaves three daughters, Mrs. G. L. Osborn of Ames, Mrs. Ira Brattebo of LaPorte, Minn., and Mrs. S. G. Tokheim of Story City, and three sons, Adolph of Minot, N. D., Gaylord of Worthington, Minn., and Bennie of Ames.
