HIGH SCHOOL GIRL IS DEAD
HERMA TWEDT DIED MONDAY FOLLOWING A FEW WEEKS ILLNESS
Miss Herma Twedt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry H. Twedt and a student in the Roland high school, died at her home about 11 o'clock Monday evening following several weeks illness, the cause of her death being bronchial pneumonia.
Miss Twedt had just finished her junior year in the Roland high school. She had not been feeling well the lst couple of weeks of school and her condition gradually become worse after vacation started. She was confined to her bed the last two weeks. She was an exceptionally active girl, taking part in various school activities and the work at her home and had never been handicapped with illness. During the three years in high school she had missed only half a day, when she attended the wedding of her brother.
Herma Josephine Twedt was born December 16, 1915, and died June 20, 1932, at the age of 16 years, 6 months and 4 days. She had always lived with her parents in this community.
She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry H. Twedt, two sisters, Mrs. Gaylord Jacobson of Randall and Mrs. Silas Hall of Illinois, and four brothers, Leonard, Harris, Leslie and Virgil, of this place.
The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:00 o'clock at the Twedt home northeast of town, and at 2:00 o'clock in the Bergen church, with Rev. M. O. Sumstad in charge. Interment will be made in the Roland cemetery.
