The Nevada Representative, Nevada, Story County, Iowa, Wednesday, December 18, 1878.

Mr. Josiah McCowin, of whom mention was made in our last issue as being very sick, died on Thursday of last week was buried at Iowa Center. He is a member of the Nevada Fire Company, and his remains were taken in charge by his companions who followed them to his last resting place.
