FORMER RESIDENT DIED

H. A. Anderson, a former resident of this community, died Monday last week at his home in Story City from bronchial pneumonia and heart complications. He was 83 years old and had been seriously ill for three weeks.

The funeral was held Friday at Immanuel Lutheran church with Rev. T. T. Heimarck in charge. Interment was made in the Story County cemetery.

Mr. Anderson lived for many years on was is now known as the Christopherson farm a mile west of Roland, which he owned at that time. He moved to Story City 23 years ago.

He is survived by his wife and three children, Mrs. M. C. Hanson of Nevada, Mrs. R. O. Iverson of Buffalo Center, and H. H. Anderson of Cedar Falls.
