THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Friday, July 10, 2009.

Madeleine Rose DeWaard died Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. She was born July 7, 2009, in Ames, to Jonathan and Angela (Buckroyd) DeWaard.

Madeleine is survived by her parents, Jon and Angie DeWaard, of Ames; grandparents, Val and Linda Lind, of Ames, Jeanne Darcy, of Mariposa, Calif., Daniel DeWaard, of Mason City, and Scott Buckroyd, of Waterloo; great-grandparents, Jake and Lorraine DeWaard, of Britt, Bob and Darlene Impecoven, of Boone, Leota Buckroyd, of Fort Dodge, and Mary Darcy, of Mariposa, Calif.; godparents, Peter and Jenni Grandgeorge, of Bondurant; and a host of aunts, uncles, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Charles Darcy, Bob and Helen Lind, and James Buckroyd.

Adams Funeral Home and Cremation service assisted the family.
