LIZZIE PEARL STEMLER

Lizzie Pearl Stemler, 79, of Nevada died Friday, Dec. 13, 1985, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Death was due to a heart attack.

She was born at Bondurant, Ia., Sept. 25, 1906, to George and Lora (Maxwell) Ligians.

Survivors include a son, LeRoy Stemler of Nevada; two daughters, Dorothy Thompson of Nevada and Laura Corbin of Eureka Springs, Ark.; a sister, Teresa Lunn of Des Moines; eight grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and a great great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

Mrs. Stemler was a homemaker and was a member of Women of the Moose in Ames.

Funeral services will be at Chet Ryan Mortuary, 5th St. and G Ave., Nevada, Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Bill Bass officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
