THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Friday, May 29, 2009.

Helen V. Dutton, 90, of Ames, died Thursday, May 28, 2009. A celebration of her life will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 1, at Stevens Memorial Chapel in Ames. Her family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service.

Helen was born Jan. 19, 1919, in Baxter, Iowa, to Marshall and Enola (Parrish) Perry. She married Cletis Dutton on March 30, 1942. She had been employed as a housekeeper at Mary Greeley Medical Center for 10 years. She loved to play bingo and cribbage and working on crafts.

She is survived by three sons, Howard (Linda) Dutton, of Ames, Bruce (Rhonda) Dutton, of Nevada, and Dennis (Joyce) Dutton, of Hewitt, Texas; two daughters, Betty (Keith) Charlet, of West Texas, and Enola Anne (Rick) Fincham, of Newton; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Lee; and two brothers, Earl and Glen Perry.

Memorials may be directed to Iowa Hospice.
