Joyce Elaine Thomas, 79, of Boone, died Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at the Boone County Hospital in Boone. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 30, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. Burial will be in the Mineral Ridge Cemetery in Ridgeport.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 29, at Schroeder Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall in Boone, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9 a.m. to service time Saturday at the church.
