Geneva Mary Hodges Nov. 4, 1922, to Nov. 19, 2003

Geneva Mary Hodges, 81, of Nevada, died Wednesday, Nov. 19, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines as a result of a heart attack.

She was born Nov. 4, 1922, in Clyde to Taylor and Elsie (Raether) Wilson. She married Benjamin W. Hodges on Oct. 18, 1941, in Missouri. He preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Nevada High School. She had worked at RH Donnelley's in Nevada for a number of years. She was a member of the Nevada Assembly of God Church and the Nevada Senior Citizens. She had been a volunteer at the Story County Medical Center until her heart attack. She enjoyed her church, her family and grandchildren.

Survivors include a daughter, Janice Huber of Nevada; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Casperson of Nevada.

She was perceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Jeanie Grady; a brother, Charles Wilson; and a sister in infancy.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 1, at the Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada with the Rev. Tom Poppe and Pastor Michael Casperson officiating. Burial was in Evrgreen Cemetery near Nevada. Bacon Funeral Home, Nevada, handled arrangements.
