Clarence Hobson, Nevada, died

Clarence O. Hobson, 65, 1229 Ninth St., Nevada, died Monday evening at the Story County Hospital in Nevada.

Funeral services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. from the Ryan Funeral Home, Nevada, with the Rev. Azel Smith officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Born April 15, 1905 in Champaign Co., Ill., he had been a resident of Story County for the past 54 years.

He was a retired Story County Road Department employee.

He was married to Fern Redd, Dec. 24, 1924 at Nevada. Mr. Hobson belonged to the United Methodist Church, Nevada.

Survivors include his wife, Fern; a son Bobby L. Hobson, Nevada; a grandson, Keith Hobson, Nevada; a brother, Arthur Hobson, Diamond City, Ark.; and four sisters, Mrs. Harold Eurom, Marshalltown; Mrs. W. C. Kemmerer, and Mrs. Wayne Otto, both of Nevada, and Mrs. Guy Crum, Albion.

A memorial fund has been established.
