Rites Pending for Mrs. Kearns

Mrs. Owen Kearns, 54, Nevada, died Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Story County Hopital, Nevada where she had been a patient for the past three weeks.

She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

She is survived by her husband; her father, J. D. Evens, Shellsburg; three sons, Donald Colo, Dwayne Anamosa; Norris, 1124 Iowa St.; a daughter, Mrs. Juhl Sheppard, Ames; seven grandchildren; four brothers, Ray Evans, Shellsburg, Charles Evens, 712 Crawford Ave., Paul Evans, Urbana, Clair Evens, Shellsburg; a sister Mrs. Helen Wiley, Nevada.

She was preceded in death by her mother and a sister.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Ryan Funeral Home.
