A memorial service and internment of cremains for Darrell W. Jones and Glenn "Pete" Peterson, both of Georgetown, Texas, and former Cambridge residents, will be held Wednesday, May 27, at 2 p.m. at the Cambridge Cemetery. The family will meet at the Dorcas Hall in Cambridge, beginning at 12 noon, and proceed to the cemetery just before the services.

Darrell Jones, the son of the late Orie and Eythe Jones, passed away November 29, 2008. He is the brother of Ardis Fry and Jeanne Peterson.

Glenn "Pete" Peterson was a former band instructor in Cambridge. He also taught in Grand Junction, Humbolt and Indianola. He is the husband of Jeanne Jones Peterson, and passed away May 23, 2008.
