Julie Anne Todd April 18, 1941 - Feb. 15, 1997

Julie Anne Todd, 55, of Spillville died Saturday of an aneurysm at the Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, Wis. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Waukon, with the Rev. Lynn G. Groe officiating. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery in Waukon.

Julie Anne Todd was born in Ames, the daughter of Max and Betty (Johnson) Arrasmith. She attended Milford Township Consolidated School and received a bachelor's degree in education from Drake University in Des Moines and learning disabilities certification at Winona State University. She taught at Saydel High school near Des Moines, and at South Winneshiek Community High School. On June 25, 1988, she married Don Todd in Waukon. Mrs. Todd was a member of the Spillville City Council and was active in helping run the Unique Singles Club of Decorah. She enjoyed playing the guitar, knitting, fishing, camping, playing cards, traveling and attending auctions.

Mrs. Todd is survived by her husband; her mother of Story City; one son Daniel Peterson of Iowa City; one daughter, Amy Peterson of Grand Rapids, Mich.; three step-daughters, Lisa Todd of Tomah, Wis., Shawna Todd of Milwaukee and Dana Jens of Cedar Falls; one step-son, Derek Todd of Rockford, Ill.; two grandchildren; and six step grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Martin Funeral Home in Waukon.
