THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, May 7, 2009.

Alice Marsh, 101, formerly of Collins, died Monday, May 4, 2009, in Oskaloosa. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 9, in Evergreen Cemetery in Collins.

She is survived by one son, James, of Jewell; four daughters, Jean Weir, of Colo, Kathryn Maxwell, of What Cheer, Judith Dunshee, of Indianapolis, and Marilyn Barger, of Newtown, Pa.; 24 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis L. Marsh; three sons, Curtis Jr., Fredrick and Lewis; one son-in-law, Ray Weir; and one grandson, Curtis A. Marsh.

Harden Funeral Chapel, of What Cheer, is assisting with arrangements.
