Dennis Feaker, age 52, of 235 U Avenue in rural Boone, died March 27, 2009, at the Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. His body has been cremated and a private time of remembrance was held at the home of his brother, Duane "Doc" Feaker in rural Boone.

Dennis was born in Webster City, Iowa, on May 4, 1956, the son of Darrold and Bonnie (Sorenson) Feaker. He attended school in Stanhope and Story City. Dennis lived in Phoenix, Arizona most of his adult life, just recently moving back to Iowa.

He married Debborah Schadewald in Arizona. The couple later divorced.

He had been a self employed painter for over 30 years. Dennis enjoyed fishing, golf, restoring old cars, and attending car shows.

He is survived by a daughter, Ayla Feaker; a son, Harrison Feaker; and his father, Darrold Feaker all of Phoenix, Arizona; three brothers, Mike Feaker of Story City; Duane "Doc" Feaker of Boone; and Mark (Erin) Feaker of Story City; seven nieces and nephews; and five great-nieces and nephews.

Dennis was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie (Sorenson) Ahrens; step-father, Lawrence (Dick) Ahrens; and an infant sister, Riqui Ann.
Schroeder Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall in Boone was in charge of arrangements.
