TWO STORY CITY WOMEN ARE DEAD
Mrs. Olson Services Wednesday
STORY CITY—Two aged Story City women, both long time residents of that city, died over weekend after suffering long illnesses.
Mrs. O. M. Olson, 72, died at her home at 6:35 p. m., Sunday from effects of a stroke on Dec. 12.
She was born in Clinton county Aug. 15, 1863 and came with her family to a farm southeast of Roland in 1868. She had resided in Story City for the past 35 years.
Surviving her are her children, Chris Mehuse of Mayville, N. D., Martin and Louise Olson of Story City, and two step-children, Mrs. Anna Hunter of Story City and Ole J. Olson of Westbrook, Minn. Also surviving is a sister, Anna Roe of Story City. Her husband died seven years ago.
Funeral services will be held at; 2 p. m., Wednesday from the Emmanuel Lutheran church, with the Rev. T. G. Heimarck in charge. A short service will be held from the home at 1:30 p. m. Burial will be in the Story City cemetery.
