MRS. SWANSON DIES AT KELLEY SATURDAY

KELLEY — Mrs. Nellie Swanson, 61, a resident of Kelley for about 20 years, died at 10:30 p. m., Saturday at her home here following a long illness of cancer.

Mrs. Swanson was born in Boone county, Jan. 14, 1875.

She is survived by her husband and six brothers and sisters, Axel Skortman and Mrs. Charlie Peterson of Madrid, Charlie Skortman and Mrs. Andrew Soderland of Slater, Emil Skortman of Ames and Mrs. Annie Cross of Sac City.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m., Tuesday from the Bethany Lutheran church, with the Rev. E. R. Rorem in charge. Burial will be In the Bethany cemetery.
