Mrs. W. E. Deal Dies Here After Lengthy Illness
Mrs. Louisa Eldora Deal, 67, a resident of Ames for 46 years, died at her home at 927 Fifth street at 3 p. m. Monday after an illness of about eight weeks.
She was born Feb. 5, 1869 at Jefferson and came to Ames with her husband 46 years ago. She and her husband, William E. Deal, who has served as custodian of Central school for many years, would have celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary Wednesday. Mrs. Deal was a member of the United Brethren church here.
Surviving her are her husband, and two children, Maud Chase of Salem, Ore., and C. G. Deal of Ames; four brothers, Steve McCoy of Chicago, and Oscar, Arthur and Fred McCoy of Ames and two sister, Mrs. Fannie Doggett
and Miss Mae McCay, both of Ames

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p. m., Friday from the United Brethen church, with the Rev. E. L. Shaffer in charge. Burial will
be in the Ames cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Duckworth Funeral home from 3 to 8 p. m., Thursday.
