J. B. Davidson's Mother Is Dead; Funeral Monday
Mrs. M. J. Davidson, 97, mother of Prof. J. B. Davidson of Ames, died Friday morning at the home of another son, George A. Davidson, in Omaha.
Prof. and Mrs. Davidson, who returned here Friday evening from Omaha, where they had been the past week at the mother's bedside, will go to Lincoln, Neb., Monday for the funeral services
Mrs. Davidson made her home in Lincoln with a daughter, Mrs. R. A. Brown, who is now on an eastern trip, but was visiting her son's home when she became ill. She spent the winter of 1930-31 in Ames and made numerous other visits to her son's home here.
She is survived also by another son, Isaac Davidson of Blue Hill, Neb., and another daughter, Mrs. W. A. Wolford of Lincoln.
Prof. and Mrs. Davidson had started to Estes Park, Colo., for the convention of the American Society of Agricultural Engineers
when the mother became ill. Professor Davidson is head of agricultural engineering at Iowa State college.
