Charles Apple Of Nevada Is Dead

NEVADA — Charles Apple, 84,died at his home here Monday noon. He had been ill for two weeks.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Bishop Funeral home. Burial will be in the Nevada cemetery.

Mr. Apple had been a resident of Story county all his life. He was the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Apple, Richland township pioneers. He had lived in Nevada for more than 30 years.

Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Earl Christiansen and a grandson, Kenneth Christiansen of Waterloo.
