F. S. Wilkins, 48, Dies in Des Moines Tues.

Franklin Scott Wilkins, 46. 3023 Woodland street, research assistant professor of farm crops at Iowa State college, died at 10 p. m., Tuesday at the Methodist hospital in Des Moines.

Mr. Wilkins was born in Pennsylvania Nov. 18, 1889. He had been associated with Iowa State College for 22 years.

Surviving him are his wife and two children, Donald and Joan.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p. m., Friday from St. John's by the Campus Episcopal church, with the Rev. LeRoy S. Burroughs in charge. Burial will be in the college cemetery. The casket will not be opened to the public view.
