Marion Henry Brekke, 70, of Nevada died of a heart ailment Wednesday at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Christian Church Disciples of Christ. Burial will be at Nevada Municipal Cemetery.

Mr. Brekke was born in Zearing, where he farmed until moving to Nevada in 1990.

Survivors include his wife, Dixie; a son, Steve, and a daughter, Teri Leslie, both of Nevada; his mother, Severie Brekke of Anaheim, Calif.; three brothers, John of Newport Beach, Calif., Robert of Redondo Beach, Calif., and Paul of Spokane, Wash.; four sisters, Verna Connery of Anaheim, Calif., Marjorie Oliver of Minneapolis, Thelma Derfler of Salem, Ore., and Elda Turnicliff of Palos Verdes, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. today at Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada where the family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m.
