THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, January 27, 2009.
Craig William Stotts, 27, of Ames, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30, at Stevens Memorial Chapel in Ames. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, and from 9:30 a.m. until the service Friday at Stevens. Burial will be in Ames Municipal Cemetery.
Craig Stotts was born April 3, 1981, in Ames, to William and Linda (Palmer) Stotts. He graduated from Ames High School in 1999.
He worked for several years at Twentieth Century Bowling. For the last eight years, he had been a telemarketer for PRC LLC in Ames. Craig loved his family, friends, bowling, Nascar racing and the Minnesota Vikings.
He will be fondly remembered by his parents; grandparents, Dorothy and Erwin Hill, of Wisconsin, and Ken and Nancy Palmer, of Minnesota; aunts and uncles, Michael Palmer, Kathy (Pete) Palmer-Majeski, Rick (Veronica) Palmer, and Theresa Rongstad, all of Minnesota, Cindy Cincoski, of Wisconsin, Jim Palmer, of Oregon, Tom Palmer, of Ohio, and Jeff (Katy) Palmer-Chin, of New Jersey; and many cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Francis and Marguerite Stotts.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be given for a memorial in Craig’s name.
