THE TRI-COUNTY TIMES, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, November 20, 2008.

A. Darlene Breer, 65, Ridgeway, died Sunday, Nov. 2, at home.

She was born Dec. 10, 1942 in Mingo, the daughter of Raleigh Russell Rumbaugh and Lois Eliza Spooner Rumbaugh. On Jan. 12, 1963, she married Jerry Breer, in Cambridge. She was a homemaker and a member of American Legion Post #249 Auxiliary.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, are her children, Lonnie, Jamesport, MO; Terry, Chillicothe, MO; Carl, Mt. Moriah, MO; Gail Arney, Mt. Moriah; siblings Mary Breer, Nevada; Dorothy Ogden, Ames; Henry Rumbaugh, Huxley; Joe Rumbaugh, Bondurant; Nancy Hunter, Nevada; Juanita Loonan, Collins and Christine Fehring, Hubbard.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Lola Weatherman and Lonnie Rumbaugh.
Funeral services were Wednesday, Nov. 5.
