Mrs. Stephenson 48, Dies at Home Sat'day Morning

Mrs. Craig Stephenson, 48, 1101 Blackwood circle, a resident of Ames for 25 years, died at her home here at 3:30 a. m. Saturday morning following a long illness.

Mrs. Stephenson was born in Letcher, S. D., March 9, 1887. Mr. and Mrs. Stephenson moved to Ames in October, 1910, where Mr. Stephenson was engaged as manager of the Tilden store for 15 years, later going into business for himself. He now operates the Stephenson Dry Goods company at
2534 Lincoln way. Mrs. Stephenson was active In the affairs of the Congregational church until her health failed.

Surviving Mrs. Stephenson are her husband, four sons, Conrad, Chicago; Craig, jr., Robert and James, at home; one daughter, Anafred, Albuquerque, N. M.; two brothers, Maurice Conrad, New Plymouth, Idaho, and Will Conrad, Medford, Wis.; her mother, Mrs. Anna Conrad at home.

Funeral services were not completed Saturday noon, pending arrival of the brother from Idaho and the daughter from Albuquerque.

Mrs. Stephenson Services Monday

Funeral services for Mrs. Craig Stephenson, 4S, who died early Saturday morning at her home at 1101 Blackwood circle, were held from the home at 2:30 p. m., Monday, with the Rev. Arthur R. McLaughlin, pastor of the First Congregational church, in charge. Burial was in the Ames cemetery.
