Mrs. M. Paulson, Mother Of Ames Woman, Dies Here
Mrs. Maren Paulson, 89, longtime resident of Story county, died Friday noon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Anna Sorenson, 803 Burnett avenue. She had been In ill health for some time and death was caused from old age and complications.
The Paulson family resided in Nevada for 50 years before coming to Ames five years ago. Mr. Paulson died here three years ago and Mrs. Paulson then made her home with her daughter.
Surviving besides her daughter are two sons, Cliff of Nevada, and Walter of near Ames, 15
grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren.Funeral arrangements had not been completed Friday afternoon.

SERVICES FOR AMES WOMAN AT NEVADA
Funeral services for Mrs. Maren Paulson, 89, who died Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Anna Sorenson in Ames, will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Morfoot Funeral home and at 2:30 from the Memorial Lutheran churcii in Nevada. Burial will be made in the Nevada cemetery.
Mrs. Paulson, a native of Denmark, was born Oct. 27, 1846. She was married to John Paulson Oct. 13, 1876 in Denmark and three years later the couple came to America and settled on a farm near Nevada.
They retired from farm life in 1907 and moved into Nevada , where they resided until five years ago when they moved to Ames. Mr. Paulson died Sept. 23, 1932.
